HORIKE Lab. | Solid State Molecular Chemistry

materials of Ionics, Glass, and Open Frameworks

私たちは化学、主に錯体化学と固体化学を用いて、新たな材料を合成する研究室です。特に金属と分子の両方を組み合わせ、イオンを高速伝導する結晶や、ガラスの合成を行っています。

We are the research group working on synthesizing new solid materials for energy and environment applications. Our synthesis is based on coordination chemistry and solid state chemistry, and it includes ion conductors for battery/fuel cell, glass, and porous solids for molecular conversion/separation.

博士後期課程学生、ポスドクを募集しています。詳細は堀毛までご連絡ください。We are recruiting new PhD students and Postdoc from the world! Please contact to Dr. Horike.

Paper in Chem. Sci.

"The role of lattice vibration in the terahertz region for proton conduction in 2D metal–organic frameworks". Terahertz vibration (~90 cm−1) in 2D MOFs contributes the inherent proton conductivity.

Paper in Chem. Commun.

"Glass-Phase Coordination Polymer Displaying Proton Conductivity and Guest-Accessible Porosity". Integration of porosity and H+ conductivity in glassy CP/MOFs was demonstrated.

Paper in Chem. Commun.

"Synthesis of Porous Coordination Polymers using Carbon Dioxide as a Direct Source". We utilized CO2 gas as building block of porous CP/MOFs. Even 400 ppm of CO2 in the air can be used to construct porous architectures.

門田君(D3)が日本化学会第99春季年会にて学生講演賞を受賞しました、おめでとう!

Paper in Chem. Sci.

"Borohydride-containing Coordination Polymers: Synthesis, Air Stability and Dehydrogenation”. Not only proton, but hydride can be incorporated in coordination polymer crystals with tunable reactivity.

Paper in Chem. Mater.

"Homogenized Bimetallic Catalysts from Metal-Organic Framework Alloys". Mechanochemical alloying of MOFs is used for the preparation of optimal carbon composite ORR catalysts.
